Helping aspiring developers find jobs and training
Web developers build the websites and web applications that people use every day. The work is usually split between writing code (HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the front end, plus server-side languages for the back end) and meetings or planning sessions where the team works out what to build next. Most developers work in small teams using tools like Git for version control and project management software like Jira or Trello.
Web development is one of the easier fields to get into without a degree because you can show your skills through projects you have built. There is also a good freelance route for people who want to work for themselves rather than an employer.
